Im back in Charlotte, nothing seems to change while everything is constantly changing all around.
Its weird to go back to Toronto now, you would have thought it would be weirder to come back here... funny how things are
Im confused as ever with theboys thing... and I miss my Charlotte friends!!

08:51 pm - here again

Life is a funny path, it seems to lead you down all the longest roads before you end up at destiny, then you get lead down another road to something better, if you had stayed at good you would have never know better... so how do we know when to stop chasing something a little bit better than this?

It really is funny the things that we run away from and the people we cant help running with. I am amazed at the resiliency of the human spirit, good and bad affect us and still be put ourselves right back onto the frontline of this war called life. Or we dont; and then we cower away with no one but ourselves to turn to for guidance..
Good and bad are everywhere and we have to let it happen to us, otherwise how would we know how to appreciate any of it. People betray you and not just people who are close to you, and you get over it, because that's the only thing left to do.
I think I painted a picture of what I wanted my life to be like and every time something didnt go as planned I drew myself farther and farther away from actually living.
Im realizing now there is so much more life to live, I am but a baby in my experiences with this world.

Okay listen I know that I'm the only person who gives a damn but tonight is the Canadian elections (yes we vote too! It's a crazy world!) However tonight could mark the end of Canadas liberal goevernment and the beginning of a more Americanized (well George Bush's America) rule. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Obviously I am not pleased, hello I plan to move there and I'm gonna have to deal with this. They're threatening to get rid of gay marriage and cut taxes. This is not the Canada I know.
Major sadness

Perhaps you simply can't understand
Or choose not to
What I'm going through
Will never effect you
Perhaps you simply can't understand
It's not someone you'll ever be
Close your eyes you don't have to see
Turn your back and ignore me
Perhaps you simply can't understand
There's no medecine you can bye
No doctor truly knows why
It wont be long before I say goodbye
Perhaps you simply can't understand
But you don't have to
It's happening to me and not you
There's nothing you can do
Perhaps you simply can't understand
I cover up so you can't see
The cuts I inflicted upon me
One, now two, then three
Perhaps you simply can't understand
Please try not to cry
You're not the reason why
I'll stop, I promise I'll try
Perhaps you simply can't understand
The image of me you clinge to
Wishing I would have confided in you
Knowing there's nothing you can do
You still dont understand do you?

So yesterday was an exciting day we got up way too early and lounged around for a lil while then headed out to Cataroqui mall, or as Jana calls it the Queer eye mall! Lots of shopping was done and then we headed out to dinner at Chez Piggy! It was awesome food and a lot of fun, and for our last night in Kingston we had White Mountain ice cream, yup I fill like a piggy, but it is so worth it!

Today we depart for Ottawa, Canada day celebrations, downtown markets, malls, and the underground concert.

Okay so it's been a long, long time since I last updated....

my camping trip was good in some regards.... the people were so sweet but kayaking is not my friend, I flipped twice the first day and only got 2 massive bruises, the 2nd day I flipped again, bled and refused to kayak anymore I then perceded to cry.. a lot. The next 2 days were better, no more kayak I got to go in a ducky... yay for duckies!

So anyways I returned home and left for CANADA! with Jana and Kat

We have arrived and our first day we spent swimming in lake ontario, visiting the lake on the mountain, and crossing the lake on a ferry to an island to look at craft fairs.
Today was our 2nd day here and we spent the day touring a prison museum (and learning how to defend ourselves against other prisoners, smuggle drugs, and what tortures we should expect if incarcerated) We then went into town and shopped (ps I am a shopaholic) we found the coolest stuff and ate at an interesting college run restaurant, and of course grabbed an ice capp at our local Tim's! We just recently went to see the Ballad of Jack and Rose (... it's a lot to take in, but good)

So guys it has been a while hasn't it, my life has been filled to the brim with out of this world experiences, some of them took a little work but in the end it all worked out fabulously! I want to wish the best of luck to all of my graduating seniors, hell yea! I am going to miss you guys terribly!
So much has happened lately but not much has changed, the biggest change ever is about to occur however and I am so ready! I'll be at UNCA in the fall, not too far away so everyone can come and visit.
This summer I'll be in Canada, so you can't visit, that's cool though I'll take tonnes of pics! Looking forward to graduation, less than 2 weeks away!

People can be so stupid; it's sad when you're dissappointed in those that others around you idolize as heros:

ROME - As many as 20,000 mourners paid their respects in Rome at the funeral of an Italian intelligence officer killed by U.S. gunfire in Iraq while helping a hostage escape.
Shrapnel from an estimated 300 to 400 rounds of ammunition hit Sgrena in the shoulder and a single round killed Calipari.
Sgrena said Calipari dove on top of her to protect her and she felt his last breath as he died from a head wound.

US soldiers say that the shooting was neccessary, the Italian vehicle did not stop at a checkpoint.

"It was not a checkpoint, so I can't explain it," she said. "I don't see why I should rule out that I could have been the target." -Italian journalist Giuliana Sgrena
